Signal 107 win the “Best Flipper in Telford 2018” title
Telford Ice Rink embraced Pancake Day by holding a charity pancake race on ice.
Six teams battled it out on ice, competing in two heats and a final for the title of “Best Flipper in Telford 2018”. Teams included RAF Cosford, Telford Tigers, Anytime Fitness, Signal 107, Aspirations and Telford & Wrekin Council.
Tensions were running high with a close call between Signal 107 and Anytime Fitness in the first round of relaying. Followed by a few tumbles and some speedy pancake flipping; Signal 107 took the title in the final.
Entry to take part or spectate in the pancake race was free, the team at Telford Ice Rink successfully raised donations contributing towards the Mayor’s Charity – Severn Hospice (Telford).
Telford Ice Rink would like to thank everybody who took part in the event, and for helping to raise money for Severn Hospice (Telford).
