Festive Family fun at Telford Ice Rink’s Magical Christmas Spectacular this Sunday
This Sunday Telford Ice Rink is inviting young families to spend an afternoon at the Ice Rink to join in some festive fun on and off the ice at the Magical Christmas Spectacular (Sunday 18 December) between 12noon to 3pm.
A very popular event last year, with so much for families to join in with, all included in the ticket price. Skating will be available on the ice and children can add their own festive artwork to the ice with special paints that will be available for them to use. There will be live music from local Rick Cosco and his saxophone.
There will be visits from Christmas characters for the children to meet as well as a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs Claus. Take a break from the ice with Christmas crafts in Soft Play plus lots more.
Councillor Kelly Middleton (Labour) Cabinet Member for Leisure, Public Health and Well-Being, Equalities and Partnerships said “Christmas is traditionally a time for families and Telford Ice Rink has had a great choice of activities as part of their Magical Christmas programme of events this month, we are very fortunate to have this amazing venue for residents and visitors to use for festive fun.
There have been so many of you enjoying your time on the ice so far but Magical Christmas Spectacular this Sunday will be one of the highlights of the Magical Christmas programme of events. There’s lots of activities for younger family members to enjoy on and off the ice. It will be a magical and fun afternoon, and create wonderful memories associated with the festive season, so I encourage you to get your tickets now so you don’t miss out.”
There has already been so much on for all to enjoy at Telford Ice Rink, but there’s still the School’s Out for Christmas disco on Friday 16 December with special prices for juniors and adults, a Traditional Family Skate on Christmas Eve with family tickets half price.
