Council launches first Community Health & Wellbeing ‘Live Well’ Hub

Telford and Wrekin Council, in collaboration with partners including Madeley Town Council and Telford Mind, are proud to announce the launch of the first Community Health & Wellbeing Hub.

The Live Well Hub aims to foster happier, healthier communities, bringing together a range of partners to support residents with their needs. Whether seeking guidance on personal health, wellbeing, care requirements, or simply looking for a stronger sense of connection within their community, individuals will find a welcoming space where their concerns are heard and addressed.

The hub will launch on Wednesday 10 April, 10am – 1pm at Madeley Library inside the Anstice. Residents can attend the hub on a weekly basis with different providers available each week.

Cllr Kelly Middleton, Cabinet Member for Healthy, Safer & Stronger Communities and Partnerships, said: "The Live Well Hub will serve as a community pillar of support and empowerment.

“The overarching goal of the Live Well Hub is to give residents the tools and knowledge necessary to make small yet impactful changes in their lives.

"By consolidating a range of services, organisations, and groups under one roof, we aim to streamline access to essential resources, facilitating informed decision-making and tangible progress towards a happier, healthier lifestyle."
