Winter Sport Fun this February Half Term

With the February half term fast approaching, Telford and Wrekin Leisure have just launched their latest School Holiday Activity Program for 2022.

Winter Sport Fun this February Half Term

This program is your how to guide on keeping the kids busy during their week off as well as a great reminder of all the activities available locally in Telford and Wrekin.

Most importantly the activities are great value for money with Kids4£1 activities like tobogganing, tennis and swimming taking place everyday across the different centres in the borough.

Not forgetting those family favourites like Telford Ice Rink who have their Skate 4 Life crash courses planned for every day of half term.

Swimming crash courses are also available and are excellent not only for keeping children active during school holidays but as an opportunity to catch up with swimming and learn new great skills.  Swim4Life crash courses include 5 x 30 minute classes and are available from all four swimming pools in the borough.

Councillor Kelly Middleton (Lab) Cabinet Member for Leisure, public health and well-being, equalities and partnerships said: “We are delighted to be able to offer yet another fun-filled week of activities for all families in our borough.  Kids4£1 activities are a great opportunity to try a new activity and with the Winter Olympics  happening right now half term is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in some winter sport right here on your doorstep.”

While booking activities is not essential it is recommended to guarantee your slot.
