FREE Fitness Weekend with aspirations

Telford and Wrekin residents are being encouraged to take part in a Free Fitness Weekend with Telford & Wrekin Council Leisure.

FREE Fitness Weekend with aspirations

Members and non-members of aspirations health and fitness will be able to sample a variety of the latest group fitness classes for FREE at Abraham Darby Sports and Leisure Centre on Saturday 15 January and Oakengates Leisure Centre on Sunday 16 January.

The fitness classes are suitable for all abilities and include some of the most popular classes at aspirations health and fitness suites across the borough including:

  • Body Pump
  • Body Attack
  • Body Balance
  • Zumba
  • Sh’bam
  • Body Combat
  • RPM

Councillor Kelly Middleton (Lab), Cabinet Member for leisure, public health and well-being, equalities and partnerships said: “If one of your New Year goals was to look after your health and well-being more in 2022 this Free Fitness Weekend is a fantastic and timely opportunity to try a new activity and take a look around a couple of our centres. Whether you are a complete beginner – or just looking to get back into exercise – these free sessions are a great first step.”

This January, Telford & Wrekin Council Leisure are also offering new members one month free when they sign up to a 12 month aspirations membership - helping them to kickstart their fitness journey.

Memberships start from as little as £26 per month and include access to all Telford & Wrekin Council Leisure gyms and swimming pools across the borough- plus unlimited fitness classes.
