Responding to the maternity review at Shrewsbury andTelford Hospital NHS Trust, Councillor Shaun Davies, Leader at Telford &Wrekin Council, said:
“I welcome the report and recommendations set out by DonnaOckenden into maternity services at SaTH.
“My heart goes out to all the families who have gonethrough so much and I pay tribute to those parents who have been able to sharetheir experiences to support the inquiry. Their bravery and resolve is atribute to their babies and loved ones.
“It is important, now more than ever, that the Trustlistens and acts on the recommendations of the report, so families do notsuffer such personal tragedies in the future.”
