Pride in Our Community improvements - week starting 28 October 2019

Winter maintenance – a frosty one this morning. Our gritting crews are on standby 24/7 to respond to Met Office warnings of snow and ice. Met office 5 day forecast for Telford here. More winter info + advice here.

Road surfacing – Old Park Roundabout improvement scheme starts today and will last 3 days (weather permitting). Crews will be on site between 9.30am-4.30pm and working on different legs of the roundabout each day with traffic management arrangements in place. Work on Cuckoo Oak Roundabout continues until the end of the week, with crews working overnight (7pm-6am) to minimise disruption. Further information on these schemes including traffic management arrangements here. Also a reminder that Waterloo Street in Ironbridge is closed until Friday 22 November due to work being done by Severn Trent Water. More information here.

Drains (gullies) – crews are out with the gully tanker cleaning drains in Aqueduct, Dawley, Dawley Bank and Malinslee. You can report a drainage issue here.

Potholes - crews are filling potholes that have been reported to us. This week they are in Admaston, Bratton, Brookside, Dawley, Donnington, Halesfield, Hollinswood, Madeley, Newport, Priorslee, Randlay and Wellington. Please report any you spot here.

Footpaths – crews are improving footpaths in Apley (Heatherdale, Beaufort Cl, Gloucester Crt), St Georges (Gower St, Fountain Dv, Athol Dv, Eaton Cres), and Newport (Lapworth Way, Vineyard Dv, Stafford Rd). You can report a footpath issue here.
