Roads – Repairs to damaged safety barrier on A442 will be carried out overnight every day this week starting with Hollinswood Northbound On-slip on Monday and Tuesday night, followed by Brockton Westbound On-Slip on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.  Slip road closures will be in force between the hours of 8pm and 6am. Work continues in Hollies Road, Steventon Road, Cranage Crescent and Orleton Lane in Wellington. Works also start in Arleston to complete road marking replacement. Footpaths – Work continues in Hadley.

Residential parking – crews are working in Birchmore in Brookside, Springhill Crescent in Madeley, Portley Road in Dawley and Dunsheath in Hollinswood to make improvements to the residential parking provision in this roads.

Footbridges – Crews still working on the Priorslee boardwalk – the largest footbridge will be completed by the end of this week and reopened for Christmas. Work will start on the smaller one in the New Year (more info on this to come).

Safety schemes – Work continues on a safety scheme along Castlefields Way, Aqueduct. There will be road closures in place but they will be timed to reduce the impact on school traffic.

Potholes - crews are filling potholes that have been reported to us. Please report any potholes you spot here or via the Everyday Telford app.

Street lighting – crews are working on upgrading street lights in Wellington, Great Dawley, Hollinswood and Randlay. Later in the week, a crew will be carrying out the structural column replacements and LED conversions in Wombridge Way. As the teams upgrade the street lights in each area, they inspect each column and light first. In some cases, the column needs replacing and so it will be at this point that the new LEDs are installed. Some are in need of further inspection, and so these too are being done later. Improvements in Hollies Road and surrounding area in Wellington – surfacing work on Hollies Road is now complete. Crews still need to finish of some signing and speed cushion works, which are likely to be completed in the New Year. More information, including FAQs and contact details here.

Grounds maintenance and litter picking – crews are out clearing leaves, winter pruning and clearing shrub beds. You can report a grounds maintenance issue here. Anyone wanting to report an issue with littering in their area can do so here.

Street Champions – our Street Champions report issues they see to us and do litter picks (among other things) and Snow Wardens help out in their local communities when the white stuff arrives. Recycling/waste collections are changing over Christmas – note the first change is happening soon i.e. if your collection is on Monday 24 December, it will now be collected on Saturday 22 December. Collections back to normal on Monday 7 January. Full details here.
