Pride In Our Community improvements - week beginning 12 November 2018

Roads – work continues in Kingsway Crescent, Kingsland, Charles Road and Arleston Avenue, Manor Road, Toll Road and Stone Crescent in Arleston; Spring Hill, Hollies Road and Orleton Lane in Wellington and the A442 from Shawbirch to Cold Hatton. Work starts on Brunel Road, Mount Road and Church Road, Malinslee. Carriageway Patching will also take place on Lees Farm Drive, Glendinning Way. Footpaths – improvements continue in Oakengates, Madeley and Hadley.       

Residential parking – this week crews are continuing to work in Willowfield Woodside and Farm Lodge Grove in Malinslee. Works are commencing in Coachwell Close, Malinslee for two weeks to improve parking provision in these areas.

Drainage – work continues in Waterloo Road in Ketley and Preston upon the Weald Moors. Works commence on Main Road Ketley.

Winter maintenance – it looks like the weather is going to be milder this this week with the forecast not showing any signs of a frost. Here’s the Met Office 5 day forecast for Telford.

Potholes - crews are filling potholes that have been reported to us. Please report any potholes you spot here or via the Everyday Telford app.

Street lighting – crews are working on upgrading street lights in Wrockwardine, Wellington, Hollinswood, Randlay and Great Dawley. If you have a question about street lighting, please email streetlighting@telford.gov.uk.

Church Aston culvert – The Dale in Church Aston remains closed following the collapse of the carriageway. Investigations are ongoing to determine a suitable design solution.

Improvements in Hollies Road and surrounding area in Wellington continue until mid-December. Temporary road closures are in place, but are being phased in order to keep disruption to local residents & businesses to a minimum. More information, including FAQs and contact details here

Grounds maintenance and litter picking – crews are out in areas across the borough and have begun the job of clearing leaves. We also have a team out planting winter bedding and spring flowering bulbs. You can report a grounds maintenance issue here.
