John Muir Award shortlisted for Outdoor Learning Award
The Arthog John Muir Award has been shortlisted as finalists for the 2018 Celebrating Outdoor Learning Awards.
Telford & Wrekin Council’s John Muir Award has been shortlisted as finalists for the 2018 Celebrating Outdoor Learning Awards, which works in partnership with Arthog Outdoor Education Centre.
Telford and Wrekin Council working with the John Muir Award has been shortlisted in the Outdoor Education Partnership Award category.
The awards highlight the exceptional work of professionals including instructors, teachers, leaders, managers, educators and researchers.
Through involvement in the John Muir Award during the last school year, the partnership has engaged more than 1200 young people from the Borough with environmental social action to preserve coastal habitats at Arthog and the green spaces in and around Telford and Wrekin.
The online vote is now open which will inform the judging committee for selecting a winner. Winners will be announced on the 8th November 2018 at the UK Outdoor Learning Sector Conference. To vote click here.
