Water outage morning update 25 September 7.40am

Staff at Severn Trent have been working through the night to reconnect supplies to people in part so of south Telford following yesterday's water main burst.

For those still without water, bottle pick up points reopen at 8am. These points are at Madeley Tesco car park and the Museum of the Gorge car park in Ironbridge.

While Severn Trent continue to work to make the repairs, the southbound slip road from the A442 Queensway to the A442 Brockton Way is closed to allow the engineers to work safely.

At 7.30am the Council was aware of four schools that will be closed today because of water supply issues. A full list of those schools affected

Abraham Darby Sports & Leisure Centre is open as normal.
