Live Facebook event to meet the Leader of Telford & Wrekin Council
Leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, Councillor Shaun Davies will deliver his next online question and answer session to residents early next month.
On Thursday 5 October, between 6pm and 7pm, Councillor Davies will be going live once again on the council’s Facebook page to answer residents’ questions.
The online session comes as a part of the latest series of Meet the Leader events which are happening right across the borough.
The events offer residents the opportunity to meet Shaun in person, bring their ideas and ask questions about things that matter most to them; as well as find out more about the council’s plans to protect, care and invest to create a better borough.
For anyone who would like to meet Councillor Davies in person he will also be at The Wakes in Oakengates on Thursday 25 October from 1.30pm to 3pm.
Councillor Shaun Davies commented: “Thank you to everyone who has attended my in-person sessions so far in either Newport, Dawley or Wellington. These events are proving really valuable in answering residents’ questions about local issues which are concerning them.
“This next session is online which I hope will offer more opportunities for people to join in from home. Comments so far have been really useful and I am always very keen to hear views and opinions of residents to help shape the services we offer.”
Residents can email their questions in advance to helloshaun@telford.gov.uk before midday on 5 October 2023 or they can ask them live during the event.
