A Weekend of Live Music at Telford - Tears For Fears, Tom Grennan and Bryan Adams
It’s just over two weeks now until a trio of headline music acts perform live at Telford Town Park’s QE11 arena. On Friday 1 July Tears for Fears are performing with special guests Alison Moyet and The Shires followed on Saturday 2 July with Tom Grennan supported by Ella Henderson and the weekend is finishing on Sunday 3 July with Bryan Adams supported by Feeder.
The weekend of music is part of Telford & Wrekin Council’s year of packed events and they are working with Orchard Live to bring these headline acts to Telford.
The QE11 arena is situated in Telford Town Park and provides the backdrop for this series of open air concerts for fans to enjoy. Tickets are on sale now at ticketstelford.com.
Councillor Shaun Davies (Lab), Telford & Wrekin Council Leader, said
“This is a fantastic moment that we are looking forward to, a huge weekend in the event calendar where local residents as well as visitors from across the region can purchase tickets to see these acts.
We are delighted to be working with Orchard Live again this year to bring internationally renowned music acts to Telford. The QE11 provides a great backdrop that showcases the green spaces of the borough whilst providing an accessible venue for all to enjoy“.
Connor Cupples, Operations Manager of Orchard Live said.
‘’We are thrilled to be working with Telford & Wrekin Council again, to bring a brilliant weekend of music to the QEII ARENA this July. The shows with Tom Jones and Olly Murs last year were an amazing success and I’m sure it will be the same again this time round’’
