Telford Community Pride Awards
Telford & Wrekin Council is delighted to announce the return of Telford Community Pride Awards in 2022. This prestigious event aims to recognise the contribution of local individuals, groups and businesses to the success of their town. The proposed event in 2020 did not take place due to the pandemic but now more than ever there is a need for recognition and to celebrate those who strive to make a difference in the community, workplace or school.
The nominations are now open and people can go online to view the award categories and submit their entry before February 2022.
“These awards highlight the great work in our community and give Telford and Wrekin a sense of pride from the contribution they are making. This is a great opportunity for people to nominate those individuals, groups or businesses that have made a difference in their community or the wider borough and we encourage all to take a look at the award categories and nominate” said Cllr Eileen Callear, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Visitor Economy

Best School Green Project
Sporting Achievement Award
Inspirational Activity Award
Best Community Support Group / Individual
Business Champions for Corporate Social Responsibility
Outstanding Educational Achievement
Outstanding Volunteer
Unsung Hero
Good Neighbour Award

The Awards Ceremony event takes place on Thursday 31 March 2022.
