Street cleansing crews are also out and about - road/footpath sweeping, litter picking, bin emptying and cleaning chewing gum in Southwater.  Anyone wanting to report an issue with littering in their area can do so here.

Street Champions and #GBSC– Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean continues with various clean ups happening locally this week. On Tuesday 16 April, a group will be litter picking Redhill Ecology Park, meet at St Georges & Priorslee Parish Council at 10am – all welcome and refreshments + mosaic crafts from noon to 1.30pm. On Wednesday 17 April, the Donnington & Muxton Youth Club based at Donnington Community Hub will be doing a sponsored litter pick from 10am to 2pm with proceeds going to Meningitis Now.  Our Street Champions are also out and about doing their bit to keep neighbourhoods tidy.  More information about becoming a Street Champion and other volunteering opportunities here.
