The fitness studio forms part of the Aspirations membership package, whereby a variety of instructor led and branded classes such as Les Mills take place on a daily basis.

The refurbishment will include a brand new floor, heightened ceiling and updated décor.

Oakengates Leisure Centre is used by many Aspirations members and the newly improved studio will enhance the fitness class customer experience for all.

During the works, all fitness classes will be relocated to the Telford Priory School with an interim fitness programme in place for the duration of the refurbishment. To view the interim fitness programme visit the website.

The fitness studio is set to reopen and reveal a new look on Monday 29 April, classes will then resume from Oakengates Leisure Centre.

Councillor John Minor, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Green Spaces and Parks, said: “We recognise areas of high usage will always need a refresh and updating, which is why the team are excited to give Oakengates Leisure Centre’s studio a new look and feel to it.”

“During this time of improvement, the Aspirations team and I would like to thank the members for their patience.”
