Armed Forces Day flag is flying high
Telford & Wrekin Council is flying its Armed Forces Day flag in celebration of Armed Forces Day which takes place next Saturday (30 June).
The flags will be flown between Friday 22 June and Friday 6 July on the roof of Addenbrooke House.

Councillor Raj Mehta said: “Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for everyone in Telford and Wrekin to say thank you the servicemen and women who are committed to protecting our country, and also to their families who support them throughout their service.
“We are showing our support by “Flying the Flag”, and we encourage others in the borough to say thank you to Armed Forces personnel.”
Between Saturday 23 June and Saturday 7 July the Council will be offering a series of discounts and free access to some of its leisure and entertainment services for serving personnel and their families.

Free Ice Skating or Half Price Family Ticket
Free Day pass to use Horsehay Village Golf Centre aspirations health & fitness facilities
Free round of golf at Horsehay Village Golf Centre (after 12pm) booking required
Free public swim or family swim
Half Price Family Ski School session at Telford Ski Centre (2-4pm) booking required
Free Family Adventure Golf
