The events help gather ideas from across the borough to gain a further understanding of the views and opinions of residents.

The event is open to anyone to come along and talk with the Council leader – he will be at the town’s bandstand on Dawley High St in the town’s regular market day, between 10am -12 noon.

No booking is needed, simply come along and you can share your ideas directly face-to-face with the Council’s leader

Cllr Davies said: “Events like have given me many really useful ideas of the sort of things that people want their council to do for them, often resulting in new initiatives for the Council.

“We’re always very open to new ideas on all matters and I look forward to listening what people have to say.”

Other Meet Shaun events have been held across the borough at locations including Ironbridge, Oakengates, Newport and Wellington. There are also regular Meet the Cabinet sessions held across the borough, where residents can share their ideas with different members of the council’s cabinet.
