Full casting announced for Easter pantomime

Katie Ann Dolling (BBC Doctors; Redhead; Devilish), Ben Cupit (YANK!; Eugenius!) and Amie Howes (Snow White Norwich) join the previously announced Ian Billings, Phil Butler and Philip Meeks. The show is produced by Mr Millerman Presents, the company behind the hit West End Musical, YANK!. This marks the company’s first collaboration with Telford & Wrekin Council.

Pantomania! – 50 Years of Telford is a magical pantomime adventure based on the popular tale of Dick Whittington and his search for fame and fortune. The first time the Dick Whittington story has been performed in the town for almost 10 years. The show takes on some unique Telford twists in this fun-filled pantomime adventure.

Lead Producer, Ben Millerman said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing this fun-filled family pantomime to Telford as part of the town’s celebrations. Pantomime has always been such a huge part of the local community, it just made sense to bring back previous favourites from past years to bring to life the Dick Whittington story in a uniquely Telford twist.”

Theatre Manager, Debbie King said: “This will be the first ever Easter pantomime for Telford – and what a fantastic way to celebrate both Telford’s 50th birthday and 50 years of Oakengates Theatre. People flock from outside of town to see our pantos here in Telford and this one will be no different – we can’t wait for the first show.”

Pantomania will premiere at the Oakengate Theatre @ The Place as part of the Telford 50 Celebrations 29 March – 5 April 2018.
