Positive discussions with West Midlands Trains

Telford & Wrekin Council met last week with West Midlands Trains and had really positive discussions with them.

This included discussions about their planned additional trains which come into operation from December 2018, plans for increased parking at Telford Central, plans for improved customer information screens and cycle parking at all stations and the potential to further work with the Friends of Group at Wellington Station.

They are still very busy with their initial mobilisation of the new franchise but it is positive that Telford & Wrekin Council is one of the first local authorities that they have come to speak to about how we can work together over the course of the franchise.
