Nuplace receives planning permission for seventh site

Nuplace is celebrating after receiving planning permission for their seventh site off Snedshill Way, St Georges.

The latest development will feature 39 new properties and will include a range of two, three and four bedroom homes.

The inclusion of some larger three and four bed properties on this site has been in direct response to an increasing demand for bigger homes for rent.

The site at Snedshill will be built by Nuplace’s development partner Lovell and made available for rent.

A consultation earlier in the year saw very positive feedback and generated a lot of interest from prospective tenants.

Following planning permission, work is planned to start on the site in February and the first homes on the site will be available for occupation by the end of the year.

Councillor Richard Overton, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for Housing, said: “We’re really pleased that the latest Nuplace site has been given planning permission and that we can now begin work.

“This promises to be an excellent development for St George’s and we’ve made sure to listen to feedback and include larger family homes at this site.”
