High demand for three bed properties on Nuplace sites

Over half of all Nuplace homes, currently being built over four sites in Telford and Wrekin, have already been reserved.

Work on The Oaklands site in Dawley is continuing, with eight properties already complete and let ahead of schedule and more plots finishing soon. Work is also progressing on three further sites at Miner’s Walk in Madeley, Blossom Walk in Hadley and Springfields in Newport.

A total of 158 two and three bedroom homes are currently under construction across the four sites.

Three bed properties on all of these sites are proving to be “hot property” with over 90% already let or reserved, with just one remaining at The Oaklands development in Dawley and two at Blossom Walk, Hadley.

Just over half of all two bed properties are still available for rent over all four sites. This includes two bedroom apartments, which are new to the Blossom Walk and Springfields developments.

Councillor Lee Carter, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for Finance and Commercial Services, said: “We’re really pleased with the response to our latest sites. The three bedroom properties have seen very high demand and I’d encourage anyone interested to get in touch as soon as possible about the three remaining homes of this size that we still have.

Properties at the four sites will be available from September this year, through until summer next year, dependant on location. More information can be found here.
