Be part of Telford 50 anniversary celebrations!

Help us choose the logo that you believe best represents Telford’s Golden Anniversary

This will include parties, festivals, carnivals, events and other festive activities that people can join in.  

 

This will celebrate Telford’s heritage, many achievements and its exciting future as a developing town, a great place to live and work in or to visit.

 

With this in mind, we need everyone’s help to choose our Telford 50 anniversary logo– the one that you believe best represents Telford in its 50th year and that will be used in the lead-up to and during 2018. Just go here and choose your favourite.

 

The logo with the most votes will then be used in publicity as the borough gears up for Telford 50th anniversary. The voting is open until midnight,June 22.

 

“We want as many people as possible in the borough to get involved in the Telford 50 celebrations. This is an opportunity for residents, businesses and visitors to have an early say in how Telford’s 50th birthday celebrations will take shape” said Shaun Davies, Council Leader.  

 

“We are looking forward to a fantastic landmark year with lots of memorable events,giving residents and visitors alike the chance to discover Telford with fresh eyes and further put our borough on the map.”

The most popular logo will be officially unveiled at The Carnival of Giants in Telford Town Park on July 15th..

 

The outline programme of events, activities and opportunities to get involved in the Telford 50 celebrations will be announced soon.
