List of borough, town and parish council election candidates published
The names of all candidates standing in the elections in Telford and Wrekin on Thursday 4 May have been published.

174 candidates are standing in the elections for Telford & Wrekin Council with all of the council’s 54 seats contested.
For elections to the borough’s 27 town and parish councils, more than 317 candidates have put themselves forward.
For elections on 4 May, voters will need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations. A list of acceptable photo ID and information on how to apply for free photo ID if needed is available here.
