Telford & Wrekin welcomes you to High Street Celebrations on Saturday.
High Street Celebrations are taking place this Saturday in Wellington, Ironbridge and Dawley between 11am – 4pm, this is the second weekend of celebrations and follow the very successful celebrations in Oakengates, Madeley, Newport and Southwater which took place last week
The celebration in Southwater was particularly special as it featured a spitfire outside SW1 which was on display as part of the RAF Museum Midlands 50 anniversary tour.
The High Street Celebrations are a great opportunity for local communities to come together, soak up the atmosphere on their local high street and enjoy the free live music, street performers, children’s activates and more.
The Telford group of the Tappin’ In project, which is part of the Birmingham International Dance Festival and the Birmingham 2022 Festival, will be in Ironbridge performing their showcase dance in the afternoon, their first performance in front of an audience so come and give them some support.
The fun takes place on Saturday 21 May in Dawley, Ironbridge and Wellington 11am – 4pm.
