Telford swells with pride as winners announced at Telford Community Pride Awards.

Last Thursday evening Councillors, award finalists, sponsors and supporters arrived at the Telford Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort to attend the Telford Community Pride Awards 2022. 

The Telford Community Pride Awards is a prestigious event to recognise the contribution of local individuals, groups and businesses, who make a difference in their community, workplace or school, giving Telford and Wrekin a sense of pride. 

The awards were a fabulous evening of celebration to acknowledge the finalists.     

The Mayor of the borough of Telford and Wrekin, Councillor Amrik Jhawar said “A huge congratulations to the winners of Telford’s Community Pride Awards 2022 which took place last week. These awards recognise and celebrate individuals, groups and businesses who are making a difference in our communities – helping to make Telford special. We are very lucky to live in a place where there are so many wonderful people. Well done to everyone who was nominated and once again a huge congratulations to our 2022 winners.”
