Weekend of family cycling fun in Town Park as council relaunches Telford Bike Hub

This Big Biking Weekend celebrates the relaunch of Telford & Wrekin Council’s popular Bike Hub, which reopens on Saturday 9 April.

Cllr Carolyn Healy, Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Green Spaces, Natural and Historic Environment and Cultural Services, said:

“We’ve got so many great biking activities planned for the weekend in Telford Town Park.

“There’s something for everyone – whether you’re new to bikes or a keen cyclist, young or old – we’ve got guided scenic rides, ‘learn to ride’ sessions, tandem ‘try-outs’ and much, much more. Even better, these activities are all free, with bikes and helmets provided!”

“As a council, we want every child, young person and adult to live well in their community. We also want everyone to have the opportunity to explore and enjoy our wonderful green spaces. So what better than a free day out, having fun on a bike, in our brilliant ‘green flag’ Town Park.”

Telford Bike Hub is located in Telford Town Park, behind the Visitor Centre
