Council Leader invites residents and businesses to join the conversation
Telford & Wrekin Council’s leader, Shaun Davies is inviting local businesses and residents to join ‘a conversation with Shaun’, as he begins a series of public meetings online and in person around the borough.
These sessions will be an opportunity to hear from the leader of the council, in a question and answer session about council business.
Councillor Shaun Davies, Leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, said:
“As a co-operative council, we are committed to listening to and being informed by the views of our residents, communities and partners. Their views shape what we do and how we do it.
“This is an opportunity for people to ask me about the work we are doing in Telford and Wrekin to protect, care and invest and build a better borough.
“Throughout the year I’ll be holding a series of these events online and around the borough, so I hope you can join me online next week, or in person in March. We’ll be announcing the venue soon, and will be holding other events in different locations later in the year.”
The first event is being held online next Wednesday (16 February), when Councillor Davies will be live on Telford & Wrekin Council’s Facebook page (@TelfordWrekin) between 5.30pm and 6.15pm.
Questions can be sent in advance by emailing HelloShaun@telford.gov.uk, on social media using #MeetShaun or submitted during the live Facebook broadcast.
Throughout this year, these events will be repeated regularly, with in-person meetings being held at different locations around Telford and Wrekin.
