Schools out for summer!
With the school holidays fast approaching, Telford and Wrekin Leisure have just launched their Summer Holidays Activity Program for 2021.
This program is your how to guide on keeping the kids busy during the summer holidays.
With many residents staying local at the moment the program is a great reminder of all the activities available right on your doorstep.
Most importantly the activities are great value for money with Kids4£1 activities like tobogganing, tennis and swimming.
Kids4£1 activities are scheduled to take place everyday across the different centres in the borough.
Not forgetting those family favourites like Telford Ice Rink who are kicking off the summer holidays with their offer of a whole family skate pass for just £20 on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 July.
Swimming crash courses are also available and are excellent not only for keeping children active during school holidays but as an opportunity to catch up with swimming and learn new great skills. Swim4Life crash courses include 5 x 30 minute classes and are available from all four swimming pools in the borough.
Councillor Eileen Callear, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Visitor Economy said: “I am extremely proud of our leisure facilities here in Telford and Wrekin. This year it is more important than ever to remind everyone of the great facilities which are right here on our doorstep. The Kids4£1 activities are a great opportunity of trying something new like the courts at Telford’s Tennis Centre – I hope everyone takes a look at the brochure and starts to plan their 6 weeks of fun.”
While booking activities is not essential it is recommended to guarantee your slot.
