Confirmed coronavirus case at Hadley Learning Community

Telford & Wrekin Council’s Health Protection Hub has contacted parents, asking children and teachers within the affected learning bubble to stay at home and self-isolate - in line with Government guidelines.

A letter is also being sent to all parents, advising them that there has been a case in the school. The school will remain open.

Paul Roberts, executive principal at Hadley Learning Community, said: “We are working closely with Telford & Wrekin Council’s Health Protection Hub, and monitoring the situation.

“We have already identified all those who have been in close contact with the student concerned within our primary school, and they are now self-isolating.”

He added: “Our safety systems at the school are robust, and we have acted swiftly to close the class learning bubble.
