Telford Film Festival heads to Maws

Telford Film Festival is proud to present Breakfast At Tiffany’s, or should we say Breakfast At Maws, in the Ironbridge Gorge on Friday 20 September.

Telford Film Festival heads to Maws

This event includes an open air screening of the classic Hollywood romance, complete with a New York Style buffet.

Legendary Audrey Hepburn stars as Holly Golightly, a woman who searches Manhattan’s socialite circles for a millionaire to marry. But before guests settle down for the film there will be the opportunity to browse the shops and studios at Maws for gifts of their own.

The Maws Craft Centre in Jackfield has a reputation for offering stylish, high quality  artisan items, which makes it the ideal venue for a screening of Breakfast At Tiffany’s,

This is a Telford Film Festival event not to be missed. Food will be served at 6.30pm, the film starts at 8pm.

Councillor Rae Evans, Cabinet Member for Customer Services, Partnerships, Culture & Leisure said: “We are delighted that this Telford Film Festival event is taking place down in the gorge – it is a great opportunity for anyone visiting Ironbridge for the Festival of Imagination to head to Maws and see what this venue has to offer.”

The Festival of Imagination, which is a celebration of Ironbridge Gorge, is happening between 14 and 29 September across the Gorge World Heritage site. The Artisans at Maws Craft Centre will be hosting a range of crafting taster experiences as part of their festival offer from upholstery basics to crafting with ceramics.
