Spring into St George's Day is announced
‘Spring into St Georges Day’, Telford’s family favorite event is back for another year on Saturday 27 April with a line up set to celebrate St Georges Day.
With over 10,000 people attending last year, Spring in to St George’s Day is a free event offering something for all of the family.
This year’s event will celebrate St George’s Day (which happens on Tuesday 23 April) from both the past and present.
The lineup includes a special visit from Paw Patrol characters Chase and Marshall plus all of the usual entertainment including a dog show, a circus skills tent, pony rides, kids go karting, a magical musical bike and lots more yet to be announced.
Councillor Richard Overton, Telford & Council Deputy Leader said: “St Georges as an area of Telford is a firm part of our borough and it is fantastic to have an event to celebrate the patron saint of England himself in our town park.
“This event has become a firm family favourite in our calendar attracting over 10,000 people last year. It is the perfect occasion to get the whole family together and try out some activities or sit back and be entertained.”
Spring into St George’s Day takes place in Telford Town Park from 11am until 4pm.
