Council Leader calls on Health Secretary to formally review Future Fit hospital decision

The Leader of Telford & Wrekin Council has written to the Secretary of State for Health, calling on him to formally review last night’s decision over the future of hospital services.

The letter, from Cllr Shaun Davies to Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, follows the meeting of the ‘Future Fit’ Joint Committee of Clinical Commissioning Groups for Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin who choose and pay for health services in their respective areas.
