Latest information about a march and rally in Wellington on Sunday 4 November, including route, timings and public transport.

UPDATE: March for Our A&E

A march and rally has been organised in Wellington for Sunday 4 November.

The march will begin at midday from the Wellington Community Clock.

Please gather from 11am at any of these meeting points: New Street, Tan Bank, Walker Street and Market Street.

Please use car parks at Leisure Centre, Tan Bank and Wrekin Rd.

March route: Church Street, (right into) Vineyard Road, (left into) King Street/Whitchurch Road, (right into) Charlton School playing fields through side gate from Whitchurch Road.

Those unable to walk the whole distance, please assemble at Charlton School and join campaigners for the last leg and finale. Parking also available here.


If you are coming by public transport:

  • Arriva Bus No.4 Telford Centre – Wellington (via many stops) – every half an hour
  • Arriva Bus No.7 Charlton School – Madeley via Telford Centre - every half an hour
  • Trains are available to & from Telford Central railway station.


In case of rain, please bring a rain coat, not an umbrella. Please wear appropriate shoes for the walk and bring a drink with you, maybe a hot drink in a flask.
