Nuplace completes Phase 2 developments

With building work now complete on the final Phase 2 housing development in Nuplace’s building programme, Nuplace tenant Jemma explains just why she loves her Nuplace family home in Madeley.

Nuplace completes Phase 2 developments

Jemma lives in a two bed property at Miners’ Walk and moved in July 2018. Three months on she could not be happier and has found many benefits of renting from Nuplace.

Jemma said: “I could not be happier with our new home. Nuplace has given me the opportunity to move from a flat to a two bedroom home which is close to shops and local amenities which was really important to me as I can’t drive.

“We have so much more space - we have a garden for my daughters to play in and an open plan kitchen/diner which is perfect. I would recommend Nuplace to anyone who is looking for a good quality family home to live in.”

Phase 2 has been a huge success and building work is now well under way on the first Phase 3 Nuplace site ‘Coppice Court’ in Snedshill, St Georges.

The 39 two, three and four bedroom properties were all reserved within a month of being announced in March and will be ready to move into from February 2019.

Nuplace has also submitted planning applications for a further two developments as a part of Phase 3 of its housing programme which would result in a further 91 of houses available for private rent in Telford and Wrekin.
Councillor Richard Overton, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for Housing, said: “We are very excited to be able to deliver even more homes next year for private rent in the borough as a part of Nuplace Phase 3.

“It’s always great to hear what tenants have to say after they have moved into a new home with Nuplace, and to know that the right product is being offering to residents in the borough.”
