More films added to Telford Film Festival Line Up

The show will go on as Telford Film Festival announces another six film titles to its line-up this month.

Top films including The Shawshank Redemption, Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will all show at the brand new Odeon Lux Cinema with fully reclining seats between 24 and 31 October. Tickets are priced from just £5.

The Code & The Doorman will also screen at The Wakes in Oakengates on 27 October and includes a question and answer with producer and star of both films Kevin Leslie.

Telford Film Festival has been running since the beginning on September as a part of the legacy programme for Telford’s 50th birthday celebrations
Councillor Rae Evans, Cabinet Member for People Services, Visitor Economy and Partnerships, Cllr Rae Evans said: “Telford Film Festival has been a great success so far and we are very excited to have more titles added to the line-up. We have been able to offer a range of films to attract children, adults, families and groups of friends.  Another fab event to get people out and about around Telford all in the name of the towns 50th birthday year.”

The festival is the result of a collaboration between Telford & Wrekin Council and Flatpack Projects (the team behind Birmingham’s Flatpack Film Festival) and is part of BFI Film Hub Midlands’ mission to develop film culture across the region.
