Telford Online Free Wi-Fi
Changes have been made to the free Wi-Fi offer previously known as Telford Wi-Fi.
Customers no longer need to login using a Telford Loyalty or library card every time they wish to access the Wi-Fi in Council buildings.
When accessing the Wi-Fi customers now need to choose Telford Online and will be met with a new logon screen. Register with either an email address or any of these social media logins (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn).
Another benefit of this upgrade is that once registered and you are in range of Telford Online you will automatically be logged back in without entering any further details.
Telford Loyalty Cards should be retained for booking Telford leisure facilities and obtaining discounts at local businesses.
Cllr Rae Evans, Cabinet Member for Customer Services, Tourism & Partnerships, said: “We are continually looking to improve our customer experience and in this day and age it is important that residents have access to online services wherever possible”.
“The process of accessing Telford Online will now be simpler enabling a higher usage rate as you will no longer need have your TLC card to logon”.
“The digital world is changing all the time and the Council are constantly looking at ways to make communication more efficient and easier for customers”.
Free Wi-Fi is available in over 50 locations across the borough. Take a look here for more information click here and look out for the Telford Online Free Wifi signage in locations.
