Here’s what our crews are working on this week.

Pride in Our Community improvements - week starting 11 June

Roads – Highway improvements commence on Hillside Road, Ketley Bank. Work will also be undertaken on A41 Chester Road and B4394 near Walcot to replace the existing drainage gulleys.

Car Parks – Work continues on St Christophers Way in Malinslee and Dunsheath in Hollinswood this week.

Footpaths – Weather permitting, work will continue in Dawley & Aqueduct, Wrockwardine Wood & Trench, Madeley and Hadley & Leegomery.

Road lining and signage – Road lining crews will be undertaking work in the Wrockwardine Wood & Trench area as well as on a find and fix basis across the borough.

Street lighting – crews are upgrading lights to more energy-efficient LEDs in Wellington, Wrockwardine, Stirchley, Oakengates, Dawley, Malinslee, Hadley & Leegomery and Coalbrookdale. If you have a question about street lighting, please email streetlighting@telford.gov.uk.

Potholes fixers – ‘Find it Fix it’ crews are filling potholes that have been reported to us. Please help by reporting any you spot here or via the Everyday Telford app.

Litter picking, grass cutting and pruning – estate crews are out litter picking and cutting grass in areas around Brookside, Sutton Hill, Woodside, Hollinswood, Randlay, Stirchley, Malinslee, Leegomery and College. There will be extra crews out grass cutting following the prolonged warm spell and wet weather. Crews out pruning will be in Coalbrookdale, Lightmoore, Ironbridge, Woodside, Brookside, Hollinswood and Malinslee. Anyone wanting to report an issue with littering in their area can do so here.

Summer bedding planting – crews are planting in parks and other key sites this week so that we get an abundance of summer colour. Many of the planting schemes are done in partnership with parish and town councils.

Wellington town centre deep clean – crews are out again this week power washing plus removing graffiti and chewing gum.
