Telford Goes Barmy before the West End!
Horrible Histories are back at Oakengates Theatre next month with their brand new stage show: Barmy Britain Part Four.
The show doesn’t open in London until August, so this is a rare chance for the people of Telford to see a show a premier of a West End show. There are seven performances to choose from, taking place between Wednesday 18 July and Saturday 21 July.
Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain—Part Four features new scenes including ruthless Romans, Mary Tudor knocking the spots off Mary Queen of Scots and a peep into the world of Samuel Pepys. Based on the children’s history books and TV series Horrible Histories these hugely popular award-winning productions bring history to life for children.
The new show is written and directed by Neal Foster, actor-manager of the Birmingham Stage Company, who also directed parts one, two and three of Barmy Britain, The Best of Barmy Britain and More Best of Barmy Britain – all of which played in the West End.
Tickets can be booked online by calling the box office on 01952 382382, or in person at the theatre or Southwater One in Telford Town Centre.
