Leading partnership housing developer Lovell, which is the contractor on seven Nuplace sites in the Borough creating more than 320 homes to rent, believes in investing in the communities where the company is working.

The labour and materials which Lovell is offering can be used to deliver a range of improvements to community buildings and spaces such as painting and decorating, roofing and repair works, carpentry and plumbing, environmental and external works or refitting or repairing bathrooms and kitchens.

The scheme is open to community groups and not-for-profit organisations including schools, charities and faith organisations that are based in Telford and Wrekin.

Applicants should apply by Monday 12 June 2018 and successful applicants will be notified shortly after the deadline.

Councillor Richard Overton, Telford & Wrekin Council’s cabinet member for Housing, said: “We are very grateful to Lovell for their consideration in our local community and for investing the time and expertise to help improve some of the community buildings we have here in Telford. We very much look forward to seeing the finished projects later in the summer and hearing how they have are benefiting our communities.”
