New Year, New Savings!
Council helps you save money and supports services at the same time

Savings up to £650/year* are possible with www.switch.telford.gov.uk , the Council’s energy price comparison and switching website.

All the commission earned by Council through Switch Telford goes to sustaining Council’s services for vulnerable people from the Borough.

Telford & Wrekin Council is making it easier both for residents and non-residents to save money on their energy bills.

Switch Telford, the Council’s energy price comparison and switching website, has recorded more than 300 switches since its launch last spring, with an average saving of over £200 a year.

For every switch made through switch.telford.gov.uk, the Council receives a commission which will be used towards supporting and sustaining council services in the borough, such as those for vulnerable old people and children.

Councillor Lee Carter, Cabinet member for Finance, Commercial Services & Economic Development said:

"I know the New Year is a time when lots of us consider making some changes and this one is very simple.
switch.telford.gov.uk helps residents make considerable savings, even up to £650/year.
“If you haven’t switched supplier for a while – try and see how much you could save with Switch Telford. It takes just five minutes.

“In addition to saving money on energy bills, anyone who uses www.switch.telford.gov.uk  will be helping the Council to support the Borough’s services for the most vulnerable.”
