Telford Ice Rink welcomes a special visitor
The most anticipated festive visitor of the year made an appearance at Telford Ice Rink this Saturday; Santa Claus came to town!
Returning to Telford Ice Rink for a third year, the very popular Santa Skate with special effect Christmas lighting and visuals will be taking place more than once throughout December.
As children visited Telford Ice Rink this Saturday, a true winter theme was set under festive lighting and songs.
Families, friends and children had an experience like no other when Santa appeared on the ice to skate with everybody.
To capture these special moments, Telford Ice Rink have provided the opportunity for professional photos to be taken and printed within the rink; ensuring those magical memories are captured.
Councillor John Minor, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Green Spaces and Parks, said: “Santa Skate is such a popular event, with a unique chance to meet Santa and skate with him on the ice rink; it really is an opportunity not to be missed!
What better way to prepare for the big day than to dig out your gloves, hats and scarves and visit to the “coolest” indoor venue in the borough for some wintry festive fun.”
Santa Skate sessions will take place on the following dates:
Saturday 9 December – 10.30- 12.30 & 1-3pm
Saturday 16 December – 10.30- 12.30 & 1-3pm
Monday 18 December - 11-1pm
Tuesday 19 December - 11-1pm
Wednesday 20 December - 11-1pm
Thursday 21 December - 11-1pm
Friday 22 December - 11-1pm
Saturday 23 December 10.30-12.30 & 1-3pm
