The birthday party will be spread over three separate times across the weekend, filled with different activities and entertainment to suit all ages.

Activities and entertainment will range from sumo suits on ice, an instant photo booth with the opportunity to snap some free photos with friends and family or live music in the rink.

Over 33 years Telford Ice Rink has seen Richie Woodall win the world boxing title, appearances on Ant and Dec’s Saturday night takeaway, Status Quo, East 17 and Atomic Kitten in concert along with many more memorable events.

The rink is home to Telford Tigers - a national ice hockey team, it offers instructor led ice skating lessons for all ages and abilities and is a familiar venue within the Southwater Development.

Councillor John Minor, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Green Spaces and Parks, said: “It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the rink’s success over the 33 years it has been in Telford.

The team are very excited to host a birthday party this weekend for the public, with activities and entertainment aimed at all ages – there’s something for everyone.”

Telford Ice Rink are offering a family ticket this weekend for the event at £15, including two adults and up to four juniors.
