Get your skates on Dad

Dads are in for a very special treat this Father’s Day as Telford Ice Rink is offering a great alternative or addition to the traditional gifts of socks or DIY goods.

Get your skates on Dad

Perhaps your dad used to be a keen ice skater and you want to relight an old hobby, or maybe he’s never set foot on the ice and you’re just keen to enjoy his bambi like efforts as you spend some quality time together.
If either of these are true, then Telford Ice Rink has the perfect present on Sunday 18 June as all dads attending a public ice skating session can skate for free.
That’s right, every dad who attends a public session at Telford Ice Rink on Father’s Day with a full paying child or children (or adult) can skate completely FREE.

Mark Moore, Leisure Operations Manager, said: “Father’s day is a day to celebrate all those dads out there and Telford Ice Rink is pleased to be able to offer free skating to all dads as a special gift this year.
“Whether you have skated before or not, it’s an excellent way to spend time as a family having fun, and perhaps learning a new skill, so take advantage of this fantastic opportunity and get treating dad to a day he’ll remember for years to come.”
As well as ice skating the venue has an onsite bar and café area serving a selection of hot and cold food and drinks.
