Keep the kids entertained for £1 this holiday
The immensely popular ‘Kids for £1’ programme of activities is back for the October half term holiday.
In partnership with RICOH UK Products Ltd, Telford & Wrekin Council is offering lots of activities to children and young people who have a Telford Loyalty Card (TLC) for just £1 each.
The Council’s leisure facilities have a full programme of activities during the holiday (MON 24 OCT – FRI 28 OCT).
There is a whole host of different activities, for all abilities, tastes and ages, ranging from BMX and badminton to mini water polo and the driving range.
Kids for £1 activities also include adrenaline packed sessions of doughnuts and toboganning at Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre or Pay and Play Table Tennis at Oakengates Leisure Centre.
Swimming, skiing and ice skating crash courses will also be on offer over the week providing the opportunity for some intensive tuition to learn and improve skills.
But there’s much more than is listed here for the kids to do, not least the UV Halloween foam party on ice on Friday 28 October, so check out the programme of all the activities here.
Booking in advance (where applicable) is advised so that sessions can be planned according to numbers attending and to avoid any disappointment.
Councillor Richard Overton, cabinet member for Housing, Leisure and Health, said: “I am pleased that RICOH continues to support kids for £1 and together we can offer a wide range of activities.
“The weather might be turning colder but there’s so much to do there’s no better excuse to get out and about.
“The UV Halloween foam party on ice on Friday 28 October will be a fantastic end to what is hopefully a busy fun packed week for the children.”
