Are you looking for work?
There will be literally hundreds of jobs up for grabs for visitors to Telford Shopping Centre this month.

Temporary or permanent, full-time or part-time and for anyone of any age, they will all be on display at two jobs fairs covering the retail and care sectors.
On 9 & 10 September from 9am to 6pm, approx. 20 providers of care services will be outside Debenhams in Sherwood Square. They will be available to talk to jobseekers about their business, discuss the vacancies and careers they have to offer and maybe even conduct an informal interview. They will be joined by Telford & Wrekin Council’s Job Box team to help you with your CV, application form, interview, or any other aspect of support you need when looking for that new job or career.
A week later, on 16 & 17 September from 9am to 6pm, the Job Box team will be outside Primark in Dean Square to stage the Retail Jobs Fair. Over the summer, they worked closely with the Enterprise Telford Team based at the Marches Growth Hub Telford, personally talking to all the town centre’s retailers and businesses and scouring the internet for vacancies. They will have all those job offers on display.
Councillor Gilly Reynolds, Cabinet Member for Education, Employment & Regeneration said: “This is an important part of our work in supporting local businesses and tackling unemployment. Our teams have done all the hard work in sourcing job and career opportunities and it will all be laid out during these two fairs, all you have to do is apply! And if you need help in applying, the Job Box Team will be on hand to assist with completing your CV and application forms or even let you practice a ‘dry-run’ interview.”
