Help on hand for GCSE students

Today (25 Aug) is GCSE results day and Telford & Wrekin Council’s Job Box team is ready to help students on what to do next.

Help on hand for GCSE students
The Job Box provides a range of services to young people as part of the Council’s work to tackle youth unemployment in the borough. This includes FutureFocus which offers help and advice to anyone up to 19 years of age.

Councillor Gilly Reynolds, Cabinet Member for Education, Employment and Regeneration, said: “Whatever the results, sometimes students don’t know what steps to take next and that’s where our experts come in. They can help on a variety of options including applying for jobs, training or apprenticeships, or for places in further education.”

If you need help or advice, call FutureFocus on 01952 388 988, via the ‘Contact Us’ page on the Telford Job Box website at http://www.telfordjobbox.co.uk/ or on social media:
