Telford Job Box ready to help A Level students on results’ day
Many 17 and 18 year olds across the borough will find out their A level results today and some will be undecided about what to do next.

The Job Box combines a number of services aimed to assist job seekers across Telford and Wrekin, including FutureFocus which offers advice and assistance to anyone up to 19 years of age, and our National Careers Service for those aged 20+.

Councillor Gilly Reynolds, Cabinet Member for Education, Employment & Regeneration, said: “There will be many 17 and 18 year olds who are getting their A level results today but who have no plans for their next step and we want them to know that we can help.

“The Job Box is a great place for help and advice for young people in Telford and Wrekin who are looking for work or training opportunities. Our team can help them find and apply for a job, training or apprenticeship, or for a place in further or higher education.”

Pupils getting their GCSE results next week (25 Aug) are also able to benefit from support and assistance from the Job Box over their next steps.
