St George Cross floral bed to support England
The nation is gearing up for one of the most exciting clashes of Euro 2016 football championships – and Telford & Wrekin Council is proud to show its support for England.

Thursday’s Group B clash between England and Wales in the Stade Felix Bollaert-Delelis in Lens promises to be one of the games of the tournament.
To show our support, our environmental maintenance team has planted a floral bed in Ketley in the form of the cross of St George.
Telford & Wrekin Council leader Councillor Shaun Davies said: “It is not often that two British teams meet at a major finals and tomorrow’s game promises to be a high quality clash.
“We are delighted to show our support for England but Wales have made a great start with their win against Slovakia so may the best team win. I hope everyone enjoys the game and celebrates safely no matter who they are supporting.”
Thursday’s kick off is 2pm.
