Heading to Oakengates Theatre @ The Place on Friday 1 July, any Rod Stewart fan is sure to have a nostalgic evening listening to all Rod’s greatest hits and maybe just finding out a bit more about the life of this energetic and ever popular star.

Some Guys Have All The Luck is a brand new theatrical production celebrating the career of one of rocks greatest icons, Rod Stewart - from his humble beginnings as a street busker through to international superstar.

Paul Metcalfe delivers an authentic and chasismatic performance assuming the persona of the legendary singer-songwriter and perfomer right down to the last detail – from the distinctive vocals to the swaggering showmanship and sheer fun that have made Rod Stewart one of the most loved performers of all time.

The show includes all the massive hits from Rod’s incredible career, classic rockers like ‘Maggie May, ‘Baby Jane’ and ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy’ through to big ballads such as ‘Sailing’, ‘You’re In My Heart’ and ‘Tonight’s The Night’ as well as favourites from his days with the Faces such as ‘Stay With Me’, ‘Twistin The Night Away’ and timeless Motown tunes from the album Soulbook.

Tickets for Some Guys Have All The Luck at 7.30pm on Friday 1 July cost £19.50 each and can be booked online at www.theplacetelford.com by calling the box office on 01952 382382, or in person at the theatre or Southwater One in Telford Town Centre.

A pre show meal is also available at the theatre prior to the show.  Enjoy two lovely courses at 6pm for just £9.75 per person.
